As Customer Administrator, you can delete kit templates. You cannot delete a kit template if inventory is associated with it. In this case, you must first return the items within it to inventory.

Note: Another option is to assign the Availability Status of Not Available, Deactivated, Inactive, Out of Service, or Beyond Useful Life to constructed kits. Thereafter, users cannot make use of these kits. This does not take the kit template out of service.

To delete a kit template

1. On the Settings tab, click Categories. The Categories page opens.
2. In the left pane, locate and the select the kit. The right pane shows its details.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the right pane and click Delete. A confirmation window opens.
4. Click Yes.
