The My System Notification Preferences page provides a consolidated view of your system-related notification options. This page allows you to specify identify how you should be notified when specific system-level situations occur. You can choose from email and text pager; in some cases, you can also choose Web Page (EMResource)are notified about expired statuses, incident command system (ICS), incoming patient, and general system notifications.

To

set

update your system notification preferences

  1. From any page, open the Preferences menu in the main navigation bar, and select Point to Preferences and in the list, click System Notification. The My System Notification Preferences page opens.

  2. Select For each Notification Type, select the check box for each method of notification you want to enable (if any) for each typeto enable one or more of these notification methods:

    • E-mail

    • Text

    • Pager

    • Web Page (EMResource application) - not available for expired status notifications

  3. Click Savewhen you are done. A window opens confirming the information was saved.
