It is likely that you will want to leave your mutual aid relationships inactive until you need them. In this way, another region does not have access to your region's information when there is no emergency or disaster.

To deactivate mutual aid

1. On the upper right, click System Settings.
2. On the left, under Other Settings, click Mutual Aid Activation. The Mutual Aid Agreement page opens.
3. In the Mutual Aid Agreement Requested By table, locate the region and click its edit icon. The Update Mutual Aid Relationship window opens.
4. Clear the Activated check box.
5. Click Save. The window closes.
