As a Location or Region Administrator you can customize an item or kit template for your domain. Customizing involves adding optional attributes and indicating whether they are required. For a kit template, you can also add to and change the items within it.
Each instance of the item or kit template indicates its "owning" domain. The original item or template includes the client name. Locally customized items and templates include that domain's name.
If you are an administrator of more than one domain, you may be able to copy an item or kit template. This comes in handy when you would like to make one domain's customized item or kit available at another domain.
To copy a kit template
- On the Settings tab, click Categories. The Categories page opens.
- In the left pane, locate and select the kit template.
- In the right pane, click Copy. The location window opens.
- Click the domain or region to which you want to copy the template.
- Click Copy. A window opens to confirm the action.
- Click OK. The copied template appears in the left
