DSHS has notified Texas hospitals that the state will pay the costs associated with establishing a connection with Juvare -- the parent company of EMResource -- and for one year of support services for hospital data reporting. Juvare will support inbound application programming interface (API) data feeds for hospitals and hospital systems, with the ultimate goal of helping hospitals reduce manual data entry and improve quality.

How does the API work?

The API will ingest the data and map it to the appropriate status in EMResource.
