If you are authorized to run these reports, patient-specific reports are available through a patient's record. Records are accessed through the Dashboard or by searching on the Filter or Locate tabs, when you open a result to view the Detailed Patient Information window. Through More and View, available reports include the Custom Report, Detail Report, and History Report.

When you create a custom report, there are numerous columns or fields you can include. Refer to Configurable Form Fields for a list of the columns available in this report. That topic also indicates where you find each of these fields in the patient record.

Several patient group reports are also related to patient records. For more information, see Reports.

Filters Tab

You can use the Filters tab to run reports that include one or multiple patients.

Build your search by selecting one or multiple search terms and search sets. If you are authorized to work with archived and deleted patients, you can search for these records and run reports on them as well.

Click Views to see the patient reports that are available to you: History, Custom, and Detail.

You can run the report on multiple patients in this page by selecting the appropriate check boxes before you select and run the report.

You can also click a single patient's view icon  and then run the report from the patient details (Detailed Patient Information window).

You can select multiple patients on one page of your results and run a report that includes all of them. However, you cannot select patients from multiple pages in your results and include them in a single report. Refer also to Search Results, below.

View Patients Window

From the client gadgets in your dashboard, you can open lists of patients by clicking the view icon  in a client list or an area of the chart, graph, or table in a client summary.

From here you can view an individual patient's details and run a report for that patient. This list also allows you to select multiple patient records and then run a report that includes all selected records.

Click Views to see the patient reports that are available to you: History, Custom, and Detail.

Patient Details

Use this method to generate a report for a single patient.

From a gadget in the Dashboard, a patient list, or your search results in the Filters or Locate tab, click the client's view icon. In the Detailed Patient Information window, click More, point to Views, and then choose the report.

Search Results

If you are viewing a large number of patient records, the list spans multiple pages. Use the controls at the bottom of the list to page through the records.

To run a report on all patients in the search results do not select any check boxes and then select the report to run. You will be asked to confirm that you want to run the report on the entire result set.

There are limits to the number of records you can include in patient reports, as shown below:
