As a destination facility user, you may be able to divert a patient. However, the divert response should only be used according to regional, health system, and facility policy.

To divert a patient

1. On the Transports tab, locate the patient and on the right, click Details. The Incoming Patient Details page opens.
2. Review the patient details and, as appropriate, click Divert.
