Authorized administrators can easily add to and maintain transport units (vehicles). Each unit's name/number must be unique within that provider's set of vehicles.

Units appear in EMTrack Web patient transport fields, allowing the user to select from the available units. In addition, units appear on Mobile and Desktop devices in the Units list when entering patient transport data.

Click System Settings, then on the left under Providers, click Mobile Providers. The Mobile Providers page opens. Click the edit icon for the appropriate provider.

The Edit mobile provider window contains the Units tab where you can manage the provider's vehicles.

Authorized users can generate a list of patients en route via a specific unit. Refer to Manifest Report.

Note: When assigning a patient to a transport, such as during an incident, the user can add a unit that is not in the provider's list. The unit is retained with the patient record, but it is not automatically added to that mobile provider's list of units.

To manage mobile provider units

  1. On the upper right, click System Settings.
  2. On the left, under Providers, click Mobile Providers. The Mobile Providers page opens.
  3. Locate the provider and click its edit icon. The Edit mobile provider window opens.
  4. Click the Units tab.
  5. To add a unit:
    1. Click New Vehicle.
    2. Enter the unit's Name / Number.
    3. If appropriate, enter a Description.
    4. Repeat these steps to add more units.
  6. To edit a unit:
    1. If appropriate, change the unit's Name / Number.
    2. If appropriate, change the unit's Description.
  7. Click Save.
