Sometimes, the people who send you notifications through CORES HAN want you to respond. Whether they are asking about your safety in the field or availability to assist, your response is a critical part of the health alert network.

In most cases, it is easiest to respond using the method on which you received the notification. For example, if you receive an email, it will include one or more links through which you can respond. Responses are predefined, and can consist of simple 'Yes' or 'No' answers or more complex options regarding your availability.

To respond to an inbox notification

  1. In CORES HAN, on the left, click Inbox. The Inbox page opens. 
  2. Locate and click the notification. The notification opens on the right.
  3. After reading the message, click the appropriate response option.
  4. Click Submit. Your response is sent.
  5. To close the notification, click the X icon.

To respond to an email notification

  1. In your email service, locate and open the notification.
  2. After reading the message, click the response link. A webpage opens.
  3. Click the appropriate response option.
  4. Click Submit. Your response is sent.
  5. To close the webpage, click the X icon on the browser tab.

To respond to a text notification

  1. In your text messaging service, locate and open the notification.
  2. After reading the message, identify the appropriate code for your response.
  3. Enter the code as a new message.
  4. Click the send option. Your response is sent.

To respond to a voice notification

  1. Answer the call.
  2. After listening to the message, identify the appropriate code for your response.
  3. When prompted, enter the code on your keypad. Your response is sent.
