Electronic ICS (eICS) is a market-driven solution designed to help facilities and communities plan for, respond to, and recover from disasters and disruptions.

eICS incorporates elements of the National Response Plan and the Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) to successfully guide users through emergency and non-emergency situations including natural and man-made catastrophes, as well as planned events and day-to-day operations.

Individual hospitals, agencies, schools, and businesses use the solution to manage, coordinate, and communicate, but the same workflows can be implemented at the local, state, and/or federal level with hospital, government, emergency medical services, and educational systems.

Important: To take full advantage of integration with Microsoft® Office applications, you need to make the eICS website (URL) a trusted site. For more information about this, see the articles Make eICS a Trusted Site and Microsoft Office Integration.
