You can generate a report that includes the inventory details visible on the Manage Inventory page for your location, region, or domain. The report is automatically downloaded and accessible with Microsoft® Excel.

When viewing your report in Excel, you will notice that the domain and date the report was generated appear in the first row. Also, the report includes all matching results, which may span multiple pages.

Note: Customer, Region, and Location Administrators can also choose to export the inventory for their domain. The export contains the same information as the report, but it is organized alphabetically by region and includes all attribute data.

To generate an inventory report or export

  1. On the Inventory tab, click Manage Inventory. The Manage Inventory page opens.
  2. Click change location. The domain hierarchy window opens.
  3. Locate and select the domain, region, location, or sub location for which you want to generate the report.
  4. As appropriate, select the Category or use the Search to locate the correct inventory.
  5. Click the table headings to sort or re-order the list of inventory.
  6. On the upper right, click Report or Export. The file is downloaded according to your browser settings.
