When working with Juvare Events, there are a number of practices that have been established to help you get the most out of the solution. 

To enact Juvare Events best practices

  1. If appropriate, take any of these actions.
    1. If you want the event visible, clear the Show in lists check box.
    2. On the Customer and Attendee data tab, for the name format, choose any combination of First Name, Middle Name, and Last Name.
    3. On the Cart tab, change the Maximum Number per Order to one (1).
    4. On the Teams page, add details for the POC and Juvare Admin.
    5. When creating voucher codes:
      1. Make sure the following characters are not included: $, @, #, %, and ~.
      2. On the Product page, on the Availability tab, select the This product can only be bought using a voucher check box.
      3. On the Product page, on the General tab, to limit access to closed PODs select the Buying this product requires approval check box.
        Note: If approvals are being used, you want to include the email addresses of staff supporting the approval process. These email addresses need to be added to the Teams page so that they can approve the orders.
    6. Before editing the location of a POD, delete the longitude and latitude values.
    7. To link Juvare Events to EMTrack:
      1. In Juvare Events,
        1. On the ID Board, locate and copy the I-CARE ID.
        2. Enter the I-CARE ID in the Agency Number metadata field.
      2. In EMTrack,
        1. In the correct region, click System Settings.
        2. On the left, click Provider Facilities and click New Provider Facility.
        3. Enter the Name, Description and Agency Number (I-CARE ID).
  2. Click the Go to Shop link to:
    1. Verify that voucher codes are restricting adding the item to your cart
    2. Verify that the voucher code works
    3. Verify that items are available or not to book based on presale dates
  3. Email the public POC and EMTrack Admin with the following information.

The event {Event Name} has been created.  At this time, it is only available to Juvare administrators and members of your team with accounts at https://events.juvare.com/.

You should have received an email asking you to complete your account registration.  If you did not receive this email, please respond as soon as possible so that we can resend the registration email.

Please review the content, times, and quantities available through the link below. If you have questions or changes, please provide as much detail as possible. If you are satisfied with the event and times, please respond with your approval.  In your written approval, we ask that you acknowledge that the POD will go live and that you understand the POD will be {visible / not visible} to the public. For example, I authorize for this POD to Go Live and I understand it will be {visible / not visible} to the public.
