Single sign-on (SSO) is an identification system that allows several applications and/or websites to use a single trusted site to verify users. The trusted site works as the identity provider, meaning you only have to enter your login credentials once to access connected applications. As a result, the individual applications or websites do not need to manage passwords, which reduces login troubleshooting and improves security.

Juvare uses Okta as their authentication service. However, you are able to select the preferred method of integration - Open ID Connect or SAML2. Juvare prefers OpenID Connect.

For more information, see the QRG entitled SSO Authentication.

How it Works

  1. A user account is created in one or more Juvare solutions.
  2. The user navigates to the Juvare Login Services page and enters their email address.
  3. The user is redirected to the client's authentication page.
  4. The user authenticates against the client's authentication system using their credentials.
  5. After successful authentication, the user is redirected back to the Juvare Login Services page.
  6. The user selects the Juvare solution they want to access.
  7. The user is logged in to the selected solution.
