The solution is designed to help you locate the information you need. While each page contains information specific to your current need, the basic layout of each page remains constant so that you might become familiar with the solution in a short period of time.

Top Banner and Footer

At the top of every page, there are several bars or layers of information that orient you in the solution and help you locate and access relevant information. Collectively, these bars are referred to as the top banner. Individually, these bars are known as the solution bar, navigation bar, events bar, and page utilities. Each bar presents certain features that may be available consistently, on every page at all times, or temporarily depending on a variety of circumstances.

View Elements

In EMResource, a view is a page that presents information about the resources to which you have access. Views tend to be focused on specific groups or categories of resources, such as hospital ED statuses, bed capacities, dialysis or psychiatric services, toxicity, or chempacks.

When you first log in to EMResource, one of the following pages open:

  1. Your Region Default view
  2. A view your administrator assigned to you

You can keep the default view as your home page or create your own default view. Either way, that is the view you will see every time you log in to EMResource. Also, you can quickly return to your default view from any page in the solution by clicking the Juvare logo on the solution bar or the left-most breadcrumb that displays the home icon and your region name.

The following example of a Region Default view identifies key elements that you will find on most views.

Blue triangle (comment indicator)

A blue triangle in the  upper right corner of a resource status cell indicates that a comment was made about the resource. Point to the cell and a window opens, displaying the comment and, potentially, other relevant details.

Summary

The summary or last row of a resource type section displays the total value of all numeric status types in that section column. The summary is available when the resource type includes a status type that is numeric and for which the Display Summary Totals setting has been enabled. Other status types and status types that do not have the summary enabled show N/A in the Summary row.

Status Type Summary

When a view includes at least one numeric status type and one or more of the included numeric status types are configured to display the summary totals, the last section is usually the Status Type Summary. Also, if the view includes multiple regions, the section indicates the source region where appropriate.
