As an administrator, you can manage users, devices, facilities, and mobile providers. System Settings provides access to these tasks as well as other tasks, such as managing patient data and tracking, incidents, mutual aid, and the application itself.

Administrator/User Levels

For administrators, the left navigation pane provides more options. Regional Administrators have access to a number of features and functions. A provider facility (division) administrator has access to features related to their division, including provider facility information, division settings, and preferred providers.

Providers

Provider-related functions are available to administrators based on their roles, as follows:

  • Division Administrators at a provider facility can add facilities for their division, but cannot add mobile providers.
  • Division Administrators for emergency management service providers can add mobile providers for their division, but cannot add provider facilities.
  • Regional Administrators can add both provider facilities and mobile providers.

Platforms and Data

Your EMTrack system shares information across platforms as appropriate to its users and the type of data. EMTrack Web stores all information associated with patients/clients, incidents, and transportation/tracking and shares certain information with Desktop and Mobile as needed.

Users create incidents within EMTrack Web. Web shares this information with Mobile and Desktop so that users on the scene can associate patients and clients with the specific incident.

Users gather patient and client data at incident sites using Desktop and Mobile devices. This data includes tracking information and can also include other details, such as demographics. Desktop and Mobile devices gather client and patient data and upload the data to EMTrack Web. Desktop and Mobile devices are for data gathering only. Users cannot look up existing patient or client data via these devices.
