Home > eICS > eICS - Juvare Exchange > Create JX User Groups

As a Domain Administrator, you can create user groups that offer access to shared information in Juvare Exchange. In eICS, user groups are defined by roles and facilities. Anyone in a user group can access Juvare Exchange to see information shared through networks to which their group belongs.

To create new JX user groups

  1. On the main menu, point to Planning and in the list, click JX User Groups. The JX User Groups page opens.
  2. Click New Group. The new group’s Details open on the right.
  3. In the Domain list, click the domain for which you want to create the group.
  4. For Name, enter a descriptive name that identifies the group.

Note: The name should be highly descriptive so that anyone creating a network can easily distinguish which groups they want to include. The recommended format is ‘role at facility’ (for example, Facility Admins at Fortis or All Roles at Test Domain).

  5. For Roles, select the check box for each role that you want to have access to JX.
  6. For Facilities, select the check box for each facility at which you want those roles to have access to Juvare Exchange.
  7. Click Save. People in user groups see the JX tab in eICS. Through this tab, they can access the dashboard and view common data layers, such as roads and weather. They see shared information based on the networks in which they are a member (through the user groups, participants, or other networks).
